This short is based on a short story that my father wrote about his mother. Set in the 1950s, it portrays an unhappy housewife struggling with her place in the world, and hiding herself and her young son from an aggressive door-to-door salesman.
The film was also co-produced and art directed by Kelsey Combe, and shot in the historic Lustron House museum in Closter, NJ. It’s currently entering the festival circuit.
